I know from watching people in Albuquerque most of them ride their bikes

Like they drive their cars. They have little reguard for traffics and drive

As they wish. While riding bike following the same laws as cars is not

Only for your safety as well as the cars on the road. If those who ride

Bikes bother to read the laws as they apply to bikes would know that

Your suppose to ride in the same direction as the traffic, stop at all red

Lights and not ride on sidewalks not designated for bikes. When riding

A bike you must be more aware of your surroundings due to the fact

Most drivers pay little or no attention to the rider. Why should you obey

The traffics laws surviving the streets of Albuquerque for one and being

Respectful of the laws for another. I am a avid bike riders and always

Obey the laws including learning what hand signals to give for turning

And stopping. If your going to ride safely respect the paws as written and

Don't give drivers a reason to get road rage on you. The safer you ride

The less you have to worry of getting hit or even worse by those who would

Rather run you over than give you the right of way.
