I would bid on this if she'd throw in a cauldron and a purple brocade hat and cape. I feel cheated.
This dish really should be served with a side of cheese fries, and a souffle cup of cheese sauce just to be sure there is enough cheese. Pooping is soooooo overrated anyway.
My Grammy used to use leftover mashed potatoes and onions to make little latke-looking cakes that she called "potato poopies."

It's effin awesome that you've included Clara in your review. I actually just read her book. She cracks me up, and her recipe for spinach rice is simple, yet fantastic. frozen squash is not ideal, and it turns mushy the minute you cook it. I have to freeze a lot of squash and zucc from the garden surplus, so minestrone is the way to go.
