Compensation blues  [ Sat Dec 29 2012 10:18 PM ]

levaux

You whine because you have to hunt in less than ideal weather, that it's loud an inch from your ear and you don't do it for jollies. Don't kill then, dumb-ass. Is it only a walk in the woods if you don't splatter a creatures blood and guts all over the trees?

Do you actually think you garner respect when you brag for being a hunter??? Most people consider killers like you to be sub-human, and you need a powerful weapon to compensate for inadequacies between your legs.

No regards, cretin

every time they arrest a felon, or shoot 'em...  [ Tue Dec 4 2012 9:55 PM ]

PB

They DID shoot "rabid criminals". They didn't shoot lambs in a meadow. Most were on drugs or armed and willing. Albuquerque is a crime-filled and violent city. It isn't a respectful city either. I have to wear a tie to work. Male drivers mad-dog me all the time and goad a confrontation. Walking around being a white guy isn't a picnic either. I wouldn't want the job at APD. But every time they arrest a felon (or shoot him), it means we may be free of another crime committed upon ourselves...right?

Unfortunately, evil exists  [ Sun Dec 2 2012 9:45 PM ]

You are probably a very kind and compassionate guy. You are probably young and able to still see the goodness in everybody. You probably consider Law Enforcement as your enemy, given your post.

Unfortunately, evil exists. That's why our society has to employ a Police Force. They do the dirty work that I, and perhaps YOU can't do. I can't confront rabid criminals. If you can, please join the Police Force and change their policies, if you think you must.

Ray wasn't squirming on the tv !  [ Sat Dec 1 2012 10:41 PM ]

Sloppy

er... Nostradamas, thanks for the prediction re: smirks. I was referencing a smartass- looking guy pictured, blowing into our little cowtown from DC to straighten us out.

If you don't consider law-enforcement, city government, local judiciary and private-business as your "partners" in this city, then you are perhaps an iconoclast unable to fit in.

This DOJ investigation is still a stunt. Our City has a significant, NO, serious drug problem; mostly heroin now. Addicts are frantic and mobile. That's the nature of heroin and meth, BTW. Name one confrontation with APD that didn't involve amped-up users or bi-polars whose condition is related to drug-use. I'm hopeful that APD and the other agencies will continue to protect innocent and weaker folks that addicts will prey on.

Don't (heart) Criminals  [ Thu Nov 29 2012 10:41 PM ]

I've read the published blotter reports that I can, as a citizen. Looks like a publicity stunt to me. DOJ guy on Demand looked like he was a smirker. Was Obama elected and loan-guaranteed as a special prosecution by feds to stroke lulac (LULAC, if you couldn"t figure it out.) to spank our Police Dept.. .

The feds won't get any cooperation out of me if they ask. The local Cops are my team-mates. I'm a citizen and we are in this together against criminal activity. LULAC is not my friend, nor are they friends of most Hispanics. Most of us are victims, somehow - name it

Armistice Day early voting anachronism  [ Tue Nov 20 2012 11:05 PM ]

Voting on Election Day is a tradition. Wasn't it called Armistice Day way back when? It's been decades since I learned something new and longer since I forgot everything.

Marisa, I don't hold you responsible for Sandoval County political shenanigans but I do hold you responsible for your words written in your response to my complaint.

PB, good attitude.

Is non-contrite a real word?  [ Sat Nov 17 2012 11:15 PM ]

Marisa, you "excused" their performance during this election cycle. Your only admonition was to try to fix it next time. Pardon me for not feeling all warm/fuzzy for this un-contrite admission of a cluster-f### General Election.

I'm not in a band, though I was a professional musician when I wus young n' pretty. The drummer didn't wear a shirt, so you can imagine the nature of the band. Think Freebird.

Watch out  [ Fri Nov 9 2012 7:01 PM ]

We know exactly what happened, Marisa and Pleiades. There is no need for an investigation. I charge both of you with partisan disengenuous excuses. Don't tell me we'll fix it next time. That's insulting. Count on me and my band to go after the partisans who did this.

I didn't get to vote  [ Fri Nov 9 2012 1:29 AM ]

Me and my ghost wife went to the normal voting place and it wasn't active. We raced home to look at the paper. There were five voting places for a city of roughly 90,000 citizens. Each had three printers. Bernalillo had four polling places at 1/10th the population, though heavily democrat. I planned ahead and expected to vote in 30 minutes. The store had to open, so I left my place in line after awhile. I went back at 3:00 and then 6:00, after work. My friend waited until 10:00pm and gave up.

Democrat machine got to the county clerk as she went out the door; probably bribed her (consider the Bahamas). That's the way things happen here in New Mexico. Rio Rancho is a strong Conservative area and they targeted us. What they don't know is that we will retaliate. I understand that corruption will exist in certain enclaves in democrat controlled little towns up north, but when they go right after us in the heart-land, that starts a war. The political cycle is longer than four years. I promise that your duly elected dems will receive abuse and not a bit of cooperation in the years to come. When you poison wells....

Mike
