We all have lessons to learn  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 6:33 PM ]

BTW- I sent you a message in your inbox months ago when I was threatened by the police on behalf of the Alibi. I'll give it another go at being civil but I'll probably get banned again anyways just for being who I am.

The mesa  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 4:58 PM ]

has always been a great place to dump bodies. I've been threatened with such a fate many a time. Fortunately it was usually a joke.

something to think about  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:55 PM ]

People forget... [ Wed Feb 18 2009 6:15 PM ] ...that offensive speech is the very kind that needs protecting. They forget that a lot. The right to offend and outrage is at the core of our freedom and inoffensive speech needs no protection because...well...because no one minds having it around.

I think the Alibi should think about this one some more if they truly care about free speech. Then again they might want to think twice before shitting on the cops again because they might not be around next time they need them, although I have noticed they've toned it down quite a bit (ha ha). I miss the old Alibi which was much more willing to be controversial and less interested in blending in with the local mainstream and catering to them. This newer crowd just seems so uptight. Sorry if you can't handle the criticism but it's my honest opinion. Then again, I think people in general are weenies.

Methinks  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:41 PM ]

thou dost protest too much.

Love that photo  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:30 PM ]

Just learned today that it wasn't until 1870 that the Vatican Council decided by one vote that the pope was an infallible deity. Cuckoo!

I bet there are plenty of boobs to be seen at Mardi Gras if you know where to look (or who to ask).

LOL hotrod  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:25 PM ]

proof from Fox news? How pathetic. Go watch "Outfoxed." Both parties fucked up. Aren't you sick of constantly shitting on the Dems? Wouldn't it be better if we could all work together to improve things instead of cutting each other down?

If you're sick and tired of this bigotry  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:12 PM ]

take a pro-active approach - speak out against Christianity. Judeo-Christianity is the main force that gives this inequality legitimacy in the minds of these bigots. The Bible condemns homosexuality as an abomination in no uncertain terms. This has inevitably lead to widespread persecution of gays and has greatly contributed to their ostrasization from society. Judaism and Christianity are deeply flawed religions frought with numerous contradictions and absurdities. Exposing the fallicy and harm of these religions will eventually lead to more tolerance, understanding and equality. As the information age gets underway, it's clear to me that, in the long run, deity-based religion is doomed to die out.

Ever notice  [ Sun Mar 1 2009 5:04 PM ]

that the Unit7Drain singer looks like one of the Jonas Brothers?

diggable?  [ Thu Dec 11 2008 9:34 PM ]

but faulters into a spoiled cesspool of redundancy? Well, which is it? I don't see how it could be both. I've been listening to it for a while and I think it's pretty great. In particular, they've never done a song quite like "Underneath The Stars." If you can't get past his voice, fine, but this album has a lot more to offer than just rehash.

If Bush lived in my neighborhood  [ Wed Dec 10 2008 1:00 PM ]

I would trash the living shit out of him to his face if I saw him out walking his dog. I would heckle the bejesus out of that bloody corporate-loving mass murderer.
