I've worked for Walgreens 30+ years and the 30 minute parking rule is a crock!

Call the district office & demand to speak to the District Manager - you shopped at that store and earned the right to park there. You can get your $140 back if make enough noise - if all else fails, threaten to go to the local TV news :-)

The really good news is, the store that had you towed will have to pay the $140.

Don't be the victim of someone else's power trip.
