I waited around a long time waitin' for somebody to declare a loss.
No declaration was forthcoming. Played several games of pool winning a similar number of beers.

Everytime I see some $toopid a$$hole parking like the above, it seems it is always mostly some huge SUV, Diesel Pick UP or some other earth-eating monster.
We would all be better off without the whole class of vehicles and those that drive them and park stoopid.
Some of the dream sequences in which your taken out of space and time and people are together in a place you've never been with you sound like me.
I think I will try to get a signed copy because of my affinity with the author.
I am not now a pkd head, as I have not read him.
This may be a first for me, so I do not know.
I had an experience with a few friends back in 1972 in which we seemed to become aware of a collective consciousness which could allow us to see and understand things. And some things seemed so utterly fantastic to be impossible. But then their relationships were clearly defined and obvious.
Of course, it was a shared drug experience that now seems mystical when I try to re energize it and then it is there, fragmented, then fades.
Perhaps I should get an analyst.
I think I will buy a book instead
hope to see you at the booksigning.

Downtown -- Anodyne, Burt's Tiki Lounge, Blackbird, Launchpad (for music), Marble (for beer), One Up (for pseudo swank) Nob Hill --Gecko's (although it's a little dude-ly), Imbibe (if you want to smoke and be around boring people), O'Neil's, Zinc's basement barSanta Fe -- The Matador, Del Charro Saloon, Corazonother -- Silva's Saloon in BernalilloThere would be more if New Mexico didn't drive up liquor license prices to six figures, and require fairy dust and a yeti hide in the application.
is it a place where lotsa dudes, or mostly dudes go or a gay dudes bar or what. Iwould be happy with either of the above, or to know what you meant.
