Actually OU just needs to win out in convincing fashion (i.e. no close calls) and all will play out. They have defeated two teams, Florida St. and Texas, who will continue to win out if all goes well and that will aid them in the BCS. Oklahoma is as much a "power team" whatever that means, as the other teams and has actually been labeled the initial #1 BCS ranking (when the first rankings come out)more so than any other team. For the record I take the bus everyday too, mostly because it's cheap and I can't get a parking space on UNM campus for under 300 dollars a year or something. But yeah, I guess I can pat myself on the back for reducing my carbon footprint as well but like the writer/blogger, it started as mostly a money issue.
I just gave DarcyBennett four stars for making me laugh and making a good point, even at my expense. I can be objective but honestly, good writing is good writing sorry. I separate the topic from the articulation. I don't care about spelling errors either because I'm interested in the WRITING.

She did apologize at the end for the incoherent nature of the blog. It is a bit confusing in tone and theme to go from being too broke to fix your car to observing nature being trashed. The point from A to B is not really connected even though one might want to establish a theme. This is just the way good writing is done. Will never go back. Have heard great things about this place but both times they effed up our order. They ignore you unless you are a regular and they offer next to no apology each time they screw up, which in my case was both times. I ordered a simple beef enchilada and they forgot to include beef so they came back out after I pointed it out and plopped down a small plate of beef, not like made a fresh plate that I asked for. The chile is pretty damn hot. We left next to no tip each time we visited because the service was so horrible, and we always tip well. I understand the understatedness and being like in your grandma's kitchen, blah blah blah, but if I go out to eat I expect to get some sort of quality service. I hate it since the remodel. They changed a perfectly good thing and turned it into overpriced fare. They tried to get too fancy and completely ruined everything. My girl and I used to love to go there and order the Tewa Taco with a side of posole and now the Tewa taco is this huge hubcap sized taco with romaine freaking lettuce! It's terrible! They hired some German chef and fired all the actual Natives I heard. The place sucks. I hate it. |
