Wow, we thought we were going to have world domination this year (would have been our 3rd win)...but someone beat our 1630 points and 89 items!!!! Congrats. Well, of course, our sighting of the mayor was sketchy since we just loitered at the marathon til everyone yelled, there's the mayor, there.... And I wildly starting shooting photos with the edge of Zuri's face... So, ok, someone won with 88 items totally 1570!!! ;-) Just waiting for next year.....

We had fun! After we got into it, we were determined to get every one, but getting 71 was awesome. We saw only one McCain sign in Ridgecrest pretty much under their bush (hmmm...mccain/bush joke can be inserted here). As for jackrabbits....bunnies are easy, but we were resourceful and looked at a drawer of dead jackrabbit specimens at UNM's Museum of SW Biology--kudos to their staff for being friendly! And after 12 years...found Hidden Park! All our pix are on the Photobucket website. ...just search alibi box and then click the publisher's name FRILLY SCAVENGER. We shall return. |
