PROFESSIONAL INTERN

Enrollment Services Coordinator handles assisting with daily operations of the Registrar's Office; provides responses (in person and by email) to student inquires regarding registration, transcripts, and testing. Initiates and coordinates course curriculum changes utilizing the online forms of Curriculum Workflow. Works with the UNM Scheduling Office and the Catalog Office staff. Monitor student and academic records. Uses in-house (SOLAR system) as well as Banner and MyReports systems to record data and track information for reports Manages the permanent student record files. Updates current student records with documents and completed forms. For past student records, he directs or does the file preparation, electronic scanning and record verification. Manages exam process for the School of Law by arranging for test supplies, preparation of tests and forms (in coordination with faculty and their support staff.) Works with Copy Center for the duplication of exams. Archives completed exams and provide for viewing time for students to review graded exams. Trains and supervises student worker assigned to assist with copying, scanning, and filing. Monitors their work for accuracy and completeness. Process requests for the academic transcripts from current and past students. Daily processes are pending requests for unofficial transcripts and official transcripts. This includes printing or copying transcript records and preparing them for distribution (by mail or for pick-up). Prepares for the end of the semester course evaluations. Distributes needed forms to faculty and tracks the forms received. Insures copies for instructors are made and distributed after grades are final for a course. Also has an electronic version of the evaluations to be available to the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs. Performs other related duties as required.
