HEPATITIS C VACCINE TRIALPeople Who Inject Drugs – GET PAID $. A clinical trial to assess an experimental Hepatitis C vaccine has begun in Albuquerque. There are currently no vaccines for this common, yet serious, viral infection that affects the liver. We are currently looking for people 18-45 years old who have injected drugs in the past 90 days and are negative for Hepatitis C (antibodies and RNA) with no plans to leave the ABQ metro area in the next two years. GET PAID MONEY to participate on every visit. Compensation can total over $1,300 throughout the whole study period. Appointments for the study will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am-1pm at UNM Truman Health Services (801 Encino Place NE, Building B6, 87102) near I-25 and Lomas in the Medical Arts Complex.
