Dolphin Tale

This based-on-a-true-story family flick stars Harry Connick Jr., Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, Morgan Freeman and a dolphin. The dolphin is playing himself. Or herself. I'm not sure which. In it, a young kid (Nathan Gamble) finds a seriously injured dolphin. With the help of some marine biologists and a kindly prosthetics doctor, an artificial tail is constructed so our underwater friend can swim with the fishes (literally, not figuratively). So, yes, it's basically Lassie on crutches. 113 minutes PG.
