Jonathan Demme (Stop Making Sense) tries his hand at another iconic concert film (his third with rocker Neil Young). If you're a fan, of course you're going to appreciate footage of the final night of the performer's 2011 tour. If you're not, well, it's an 87-minute close up of Neil Young's stubble. Demme does take a brief detour, watching Young drive a 1956 Crown Victoria to his hometown of Omemee, Ontario. There are a few not-very-enlightening childhood memories to be found, but mostly it's a stripped-down "greatest hits" package of Young rockin' in the free world. 87 minutes PG. (Opens Friday 8/17)
