Bob Fosse's dark, 1974 take on the life and times of late comedian Lenny Bruce stars Dustin Hoffman in an Oscar-nominated performance. Fosse's sharp black-and-white cinematography captures the shadowy nightclub world in which the scabrous comedian rose and fell. Bonus points go to Valerie Perrine as Bruce's stripper wife, Honey. Double-featured with the equally black-humored King of Comedy.
