Simple, gentle and poetic, this South Korean documentary traces the daily lives of a disabled couple. Poet / essayist Young-Chan is deaf and blind. His wife, Soon-Ho, is a tiny woman with a spinal condition. Rather than dwell on the impediments they face, the film details the way they interact and communicate on a daily basis. The film is completely observational, dispensing with narration, commentary and interviews. The result is a film that's lovely, inspirational and disarmingly funny. In Korean with English subtitles. 87 minutes (Opens Thursday 11/8)
