Push: On

UNM alum L. Rossignol presents a new exhibit of abstract sculptures. Unlike usual sculptured art that sit quietly on pedestals, these pieces are unique in the fact that they are motorized and battery-operated. Yes, these pieces of art actually move around the room. The brightly colored, strangely shaped animated pieces made out of tomato cages, masking tape, tin cans, fishing wire and other random stuff found around the house were made for L. Rossignol's own curiosity and love of toys. They have been designed to get you thinking about art in a whole new way, and they will. Kids and adults alike will be fascinated with Push: On, which will run Friday, Sept. 26, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. only.
