I only have 119 words to announce our Ridiculously Short Fiction Contest (including the title) and I've already used 22, so I'll keep this brief. The Bin Ladens: An Arabian Family in the American Century by Steve Coll

They descend from a patriarch who made a fortune in the Wild West of early 20th century capitalism. Their family history is haunted by airplane crashes, illegitimate children and the great expectations of a public life.
