Witchy Woman

Something wicked this way comes

By Christie Chisholm

I went to Wicked expecting a musical brimming with kitschy costumes, catchy songs and maybe a heartfelt moment or two. That’s exactly what I got, but it wasn’t all. Wicked may be bright and sparkly and big on delivering a high moral message, but it’s also subversive, hilarious and crisp as a freshly minted dollar bill, all the way from the lights to the unbelievably executed, nearly operatic vocal work.

Angry Elephants

They don’t wanna be your beasts of burden

Review by Sam Adams

Fear of the Animal Planet

Are captive animals consciously revolting?

An alcoholic circus trainer with a bull-hook spears a disobedient elephant. The elephant gets pissed, digs his tusks into the trainer, throws him through the air and goes rampaging off. The Rocky Horror Show

By Sarah Bonneau
Feeling down? Perhaps a visit to the doctor is in order—with Dr. Fran-N-Furter that is! The perfect way to celebrate Halloween (it's just a jump to the left) is to get a ticket to Musical Theatre Southwest's production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the film and seeing a local production will make the musical come to life. With tickets only $20-22, this show is a local gem. So put your hands on your hips and do the pelvic thrust over to the MTS box office or
