Boese Brothers Brewing
Sun-Mon 3-10pm,Tue-Thu 3pm-midnight, Fri 3pm-2am, Sat 1pm-2am (hours can change without notice)
Cuisine: Brewery
Boese Brothers Brewing doesn’t use any tricks or gimmicks to get people to come to their location because they don’t have to—people know they consistently serve good craft beer at a reasonable price. If you’re in the Downtown area and don’t want to walk into a crowded night club or bar to get a drink, Boese Brothers’ is the best place to go. With this variety of quality brews, there is a beer for anyone. We recommend going on a Sunday night when there’s a comedy open mic.

A good spot downtown to get some tasty, greasy bar food. Get some wings and a beer while you watch the game, or go for one of their 1/2 pound burgers if you’re feeling a little more famished. Come by on a late night for jello shots and dancing, if that’s your bag.
Lotus Nightclub
Thu-Sat 10pm-2am (hours can change without notice)
Cuisine: Bar
If twerking contests, 18-year-olds and urban dance music is your bag, well, enjoy. Drink some vodka (if you’re over 21), get sweaty on the dance floor with a stranger, and gaze up at the go-go dancers in boots with the fur (with the fur) as they get everybody amped up and ready to drop it like it’s hawt.

Make sure to try one of their fun and refreshing cocktails like the Ho Chi Minh coffee.

Jeff Erway presents a variety of beer styles brewed right on the premises, one of which will almost certainly fulfill your specific craving. In addition to the cold taps, one or two of the beers are often available woody and cellar-temperature from the cask. As you sip, play a game of pool upstairs, scratch under your well-behaved pet’s collar and chat with the always-friendly fellow beer-lovers.

Cask Conditioned Ale: every Wednesday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pmCanteen Brewhouse picks up where the Il Vacino Vassar taproom left off. The canteen is spacious, and so is its shaded patio filled with picnic benches—a comfortable spot to enjoy the brew, regular live music and a casual menu. There’s no pizza here, but there are satisfying sandwiches. As always, the ingredients are top-notch, the microbrews are award-winning, and the home-brewed root beer float is a real treat.

Drafty Kilt Brewing Company
Sun 1-8pm, Mon 11am-8pm, Tue 11am-10pm, Fri-Sat 11am-midnight (hours can change without notice)
Cuisine: Brewery
This locally-owned and family-operated brewery serves award-winning beer brewed by the co-owner and brewmaster, Mike Campbell. Fridays you can enjoy food trucks that come at 5pm and live music is played on Saturdays. Drafty Kilt gives back to the community by serving Happy Hour prices all day every day to teachers, police officers, first responders, active military and veterans. We like the Groundskeeper Willie cream ale.
Palmer Brewery and Cider House
Sun noon-6pm, Mon-Wed 3-9pm, Thu-Fri 3-11pm, Sat noon-11pm (hours can change without notice)
Aside from the obvious priority of providing a fine selection of local beers, the customer service is top-knotch. We prefer the malty, bready pale ale, the Horned Honey Pale. Make sure to keep up to date on their seasonal beers like the summer 2017 Sour Cherry Wit or Flanders red ale.
Albuquerque - Nob Hill
377 Brewery
Sun-Thu noon–11pm
Fri-Sat 11am–midnight (hours can change without notice)
Cuisine: Brewery
The 377 makes a point to honor the men and women who have served in America's armed forces and public safety, which is likely why they’ve set up near Kirtland Airforce Base. They offer a variety of house brews and aim to create new beers every season. We prefer their Mexican lager.

High and Dry Brewing
Mon: Closed
Tues-Thurs: 2–10pm
Fri-Sat: 12–10pm
Sun: 12–9pm (hours can change without notice)
The latest edition to the craft beer scene in Albuquerque, High and Dry Brewing has only a handful of flagship beers on tap at the moment, but they’re all pretty tasty. The place is owned by the good folks at Humble Coffee, so you know it looks real cute inside—and you can get Humble Coffee there when you’ve had enough of the whole alcohol thing. The small patio is a great spot to soak up some Vitamin D and put away a couple pints. There’s usually a food truck or two parked there from the middle of the afternoon on, so come hungry.
Kelly’s Brew Pub
Sun-Thu: 8am-10:30pm
Fri-Sat: 8am-midnight (hours can change without notice)
Besides the late-night menus and 20-odd house-brewed beers, Kelly's has an enormous, dog-friendly patio that somehow manages to be packed to the elbows, lively and laid-back all at the same time. Snag a spot by the rails for the best people-watching in Nob Hill. The food is decidedly geared toward the bar crowd (the kitchen stays open until 11pm, but food isn’t the strength here), with shades of cow, ostrich, turkey, buffalo or veggie on the burger menu. Get one with a side of sweet potato fries.

Tractor Brewing Co.
Sun-Thu noon-midnight
Fri-Sat noon-2am (hours can change without notice)
Cuisine: Brewery
$ • Booze Served • Craft Beer • Growler refills • Take Out / To-Go • Outdoor Patio • Smoking Permitted • Dog-Friendly
Tractor draws the crowd by serving beer that’s come a long way since head brewer Dave Hargis took over. Today’s Tractor offers up nine taps, with five constants (IPA, red, honey wheat, pale ale and stout) and four rotating taps. The doppelbock is excellent, and Tractor seems to excel at the bock styles. (It took first place at the 2011 Santa Fe BockFest.) There is no kitchen, but Albuquerque’s best food trucks are almost always parked right outside.

Listen to some live bands every Saturday night or grab a growler, six-pack or keg to go if you want to avoid the loyal following this Albuquerque favorite has gathered.

O'Niell's is comforting, a little cheeky and unapologetically Irish-American. The Juan Tabo location offers a gigantic patio and more floor space, but still features old favorites like the Burger in Paradise and fish and chips. And there’s plenty of live music at both locations. Build-your-own Mimosas make O’Niell’s a unique place to brunch.

Each beer has a unique flavor with striking yet subtle undertones, and the friendly bartenders are happy to give samples of each irresistible flavor. Try their popcorn nibbles.
Hacienda del Rio
Cuisine: Mexican
So it's one of those touristy places that claims to be "authentic" with Margaritas and "homemade" tortilla chips. Eh, your out-of-state in-laws won't know the difference, and you won't have to hear your monster-in-law complain that your chicken is dry—again.
Albuquerque - Rio Rancho
Slate Street Billiards
Mon-Sat: 11am-2am
Sun: 10am-12am (hours can change without notice)
Play a round (or 10) of billards, grab some potato skins and chicken wings (we prefer the Thai seasoning) with your favorite drink, whether that’s an Old Fashioned or Marble IPA.
