Meat, meat, meat. All-you-can-eat meat. And then there's the salad bar. This joint’s got more dead meat than you can shake a chunk of meat on a stick at. From the kill to the grill, Tucanos makes all your dreams come true. That is, if you dream about meaty hunks of marinated flesh, sliced right at your table. This lively, busy and fun Brazilian-themed restaurant next to the Century 14 movie theater is open late. (Alibi Staff, August 11, 2010)

The review is dead on correct. Lots o'meat. Well cooked and great concept. Upscale atmosphere. Wonderful salad bar. Did I mention the MEAT!! Yum.

  • Expensive for not so quality food  [ Thu Oct 1 2009 5:24 PM ]

Meats were very salty and sugary.

After leaving here I got a bad stomach ache. Will never return.

It cost $20 a person for small portions of meat. Only thing I enjoyed was the salad bar.

Not worth the cost. Also note large quanities of large people.

  • Nah, it's pretty good for being not even that expensive.  [ Sat Oct 10 2009 3:22 PM ]

I agree that not every meat was meant for me, but some were delicious. And the salad bar alone is enough to get stuffed on. It's a shame to go when you're not very hungry, though.

  • Second thoughts....  [ Mon Mar 29 2010 12:52 AM ]

Was thinking about going before a movie this weekend cuz it's right near the theater but don't see any great reviews here....hmmmm. Has anyone been that loved it. Sounded good when I read it in the Alibi. Well, I've heard and read bad reviews about stuff before and checked it out for myself and loved it. I think I'll check it out and see for myself. You know what they have about opinions.... Then, I'll give my own, honest review of the overall experience; ambiance, food, service, cleanliness, etc. like a professional review that folks can get a better sense of the place from.
