Chopstix is a real culinary adventure with authentic Beijing-style cuisine. Looking for a good time? The dan dan noodles are soaked in a smoky, hot, garlicky red chile oil that will no doubt result in your server laughing uncontrollably at the bright purple color of your face. Closed Mondays. I finally tried Chopstix. [ Mon Jun 8 2009 2:11 PM ]

It seemed very clean and the staff was cheerful and welcoming. There weren't as many choices on the menu as I expected, but after I ordered I noticed that there were other dishes in large print on sheets of paper stuck all over the walls. We got potstickers as an appetizer and they were good. I got szechuan chicken and it wasn't great - no sauce, just a bowl of spicy, dry chicken balls and those red peppers you aren't even supposed to eat. One of my friends got a beef and peppers dish, though, that was delicious. My other friend got an entire fish in a bowl with its tail flopping over the side. It seemed very weird but he loved every bite, including the eyeballs. I tried a bite; the sauce was quite good, but the fish was a little too fishy for me.

My entire family threw up after we ate here - TWICE. I know we shouldn't have tried again, but I just thought it was the stomach flu the first time, and the Dan Dan soup was actually delicious. Two times in a row is enough for me to say that there must be some serious food safety violations here. The service was not just slow, but downright rude. I asked the waitress for some more chili oil, and she said I could only have one small serving. I like very spicy food! And the spicy options on the menu are nowhere near spicy. When I began to ask her why there was a ration on chili oil, she refused to even look me in the face! This is not how you ask for repeat customers.....But, it was the puking that made the final decision for me. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!

i have learned one thing about a restaurant,if i dont feel right about the name of the place or if i dont like the style of food they serve,i wont even try it once.even if i might like it,i rather stick to what i think is good.
