R. K. Sloane Memorial

It’s been a year since our friend and local art legend R. K. Sloane passed away. Tomorrow night Launchpad will be hosting a memorial show for him featuring The Eric McFadden Trio, Beefcake in Chains, Black Maria and Dope Riddle. Cheers to you, Rick.

I merely thought your readers might also be interested in the Stay Gold tribute event -- as Sloane's friends donated the art that will be be on display at Stay Gold -- so I linked to the information. Is that offensive?

you would realize that some people don't trade their friends as "cool" currency.. sometimes people just want to remember them.
