Goodbye Heather Wilson
When she decided to run for Senate, Rep. Heather Wilson knew there were risks. In order to throw her hat in the race, she had to give up her seat in Congress. When she was beaten by Rep. Steve Pearce in the Republican primary, Wilson knew her tenure in Washington would be cut short.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, the Congresswoman announced the closure of her Albuquerque and Washington offices. After ten years, her Albuquerque office will close Dec. 12. Though her career in politics is almost certainly not over, for at least two years, Wilson will have to watch Congress from the sidelines.
I thank you for your service Rep. Wilson, but I can't say I'm sorry to see you go.
