Laura Marrich Eats Sandwich, Retains Water

I was on the news this morning talking about Reuben sandwiches for Deanna Sauceda’s morning segment. She was really nice and kept calling me “Girl!,” like the righteous drag queen bestie I never had. Her cameraman’s name is Lovely. Michael Lovely, in fact. But his camera was marked “Lovely KRQE,” and Deanna called him Lovely. “Lovely, why don’t you get some B-Roll while I talk to Tony?” And he was a lovely chap, with a cool hairdo.

My thoughts, to be read aloud during the director’s cut of “Ask Deanna”:

What’s the word for “rye,” again? ... It’s on the tip of my ... oh, yeah, “rye.”

Wait, I have a huge, oddly shaped head? Why didn’t anyone tell me?

Great job! You look fabulous in blue, and I must say that while I don't eat meaty sandwiches myself, seeing someone with a passion for food on camera is always a good thing. Simple pleasures. Well, triple-decker pleasures in this case.

That's not how a Relish Reuben is meant to be enjoyed. Especially when you work at the Alibi!!!
You're supposed to snatch it from the person that made it real fast. Take it back to your desk next door. Pull out the bottle of scotch from your desk drawer and fill the Grandmaster AR's Hello Kitty mug with some (...well a lot) and then eat it. And that's not it, when you're done you're supposed to light some firecrackers the publisher gave you for your birthday and throw them at passing ad reps. Duh.
