It’s being reported that the star-studded Hope for Haiti Now telethon has raised more than $57 million so far. Up north, the similarly formatted Canada for Haiti telethon brought in $18.8-million—the Canadian federal government was responsible for half of that number, and it promises match up to $50 million in civilian contributions. And through $10 increments, the American Red Cross’ Text 2 Help campaign pulled in about $25 million by the end of last week.
