Kilmer explains to NM Congressman about the sheer kickassness that is 50 Cent

You probably know by now from our amazing live coverage, but the New Mexico legislature is in session. That can only mean one thing: Val Kilmer’s done shined up his good bolo tie and is pressing flesh to get things done. Part of his agenda, apparently, includes explaining to Rep. Luciano Varela (D-Santa Fe) why the rapper 50 Cent is so great.

I found this on Best Week Ever, and they got the video from ThisIs50. Thanks, Val, for keeping our state at the forefront of most awesomest news!

not to mention the cool thief in HEAT that had that gnarly huge growth on his elbow. You can see it in the scene in the apartment by the sea with DeNiro. How weird for Michael Mann to put a gnarly knob on Val Kilmer's elbow in a movie then only show it once. I get creeped out thinking about that.

On a couple flights of stairs. Whoa. I took a picture of the back of his head. The flash on my camera phone went off. He gave me a funny half-look, which I failed to take a picture of. My paparazzi instincts suxxor.

I would be so embarrassed. I saw Val Kilmer once too. I tried not to stare at him. He's pretty goofy but he seems pretty cool to me. I thought he was great as Jim Morrison.

I think I've mentioned this in a previous Val Kilmer thread, but I once saw him with Daryl Hannah at a Bouncing Souls show upstairs at the Launchpad. People were sort of mobbing him. They left and my friend and I got their seats.
