Lady Porn Poll

Candidate A: Shirtless Ryan Phillippe on the cover of Men’s Health

What is lady porn? That’s subjective. Male porn is easy to identify--I won’t go into it. I was raised with a healthy fear of saying certain wenis-y type words. But Lady Porn is more difficult to pin. Sometimes, it’s a man on a horse. Other times, it’s a husband made of brownies.

Today we pit two candidates from different demographics (stages of being clothed) against each other to determine Who Is the Most Best in Terms of Lady Porn (I’m working on the name).

(Disclaimer: Not all ladies love men, and not all who love men are ladies. This is not intended to be heteronormative or exclusionary. The great thing about Lady Porn is that everyone can participate. Get gay grandma in on this!)

Candidate B: Jon Hamm in character as Don Draper on the set of “Mad Men.”

until I read the caption. I think that guy is a snob. But I do like that shirtless-but-still-wearing-a-hoodie look you can spot so frequently in Downtown Albuquerque.
And I'm not really a fan of a man in a suit, unless that suit is somehow absurd (pink, floral, from the 70s, white with the sleeves rolled up, embroidered, rumpled, includes a ruffled shirt—hilarious ties and fake mafia pinstripes need not apply).
But I guess I'm still going with suit guy.
If I could, I'd add on option C-Sam Rockwell, who is the only actor I'm really into.

Class, brains and a strong jawline over a six-pack any day. Get that ridiculous cape off Phillippe, though, and my story might change.

I don't find suits sexy. A plain T-shirt does just fine.
If we're adding options, I chose option D: Robert Downey Jr. Always chose the man who makes you laugh. That's real lady porn.

but jon hamm is hot. we're all in agreement there.
so, to me, it's not what they're wearing, it's the particular guy. i find my own guy hot naked and in a suit. so there ya go.
and as far as porn goes, i like eye candy in a movie, but don't want to watch actual porn. i'd rather read about it. all for erotica.

I think it is a rule that men and women both usually look better dressed up than down (our society has become entirely too casual). Aside from a well-fitting suit being attractive, it shows that you care about fashion and are therefore intellectual in some way. Being well-dressed might also indicate that you take care of yourself.
