Great art sighting on the way to work

Nothing says America like a star-spangled mustang statue tethered to the bed of a Ford pickup. A free Alibi bottle opener key chain to anyone who can tell me the origins / final whereabouts of this magnificent stallion.

    I know about 6 years ago they did a painted horse project here where the city provided horses and artists painted them. I went to KY this time last year and the Equestrian Cup had stolen the idea and there were hundreds of horses in downtown Lexington, painted by various artists. Maybe this person participated in that project.

    I used to get some cool (small) ones from this shop in Old Town. That looks like one...
