A group of morally bankrupt 1980s Angelenos snort blow, fornicate and screw each other over. David Mamet’s Speed-The-Plow might as well have been written by Bret Easton Ellis. If you’re in the mood for a vice-filled Hollywood farce, The Vortex Theatre (2004 1/2 Cental SE) is staging Mamet’s play through May 20.
