Thank you so much to Simon and Eric, and all of the staff at the Alibi who continue to provide amazing coverage of our little league. We're so happy to be back in New Mexico after a season-long haitus. I hope more people will join us on June 6!
Thank you for the excellent coverage again Marisa. We really do appreciate the strong tack you've taken on us as athletic rivals. Usually roller derby gets the human interest story once or twice in local media, but no serious sports coverage (for an activity in which the serious (volunteer) competitors train up to six times a week for over two hours, in addition to cross-training). This season, it's going to be especially clear to any observers that the level of athleticism and experience are increasing exponentially, and we hope that some changes to our venue to make the action more viewable (ie, elimination of the wall between the Gotham and Midnight Rodeo rooms of the club) will help our fans understand the strategic aspects of the game better.
