The idea of and new state of the art sports entertainment facility is a great idea for this city and this state. A few issues have to be adressed first and then it makes perfect sense. First off, stop asking us hard working tax paying citizens of this state a tax increase to build it,and then Expect them to want to PAY to go to the arena THEY the tax payers JUST paid for. Really? Seriously? Wow.... Next,stop thinking it will ever fit downtown. NOBODY wants their already crowded ONE way streets clooged with Kenny Loggins 10 semis, or Bette Midler's 30 semis. Lastly, I believe the money revenue streams that can be generated by a new stay of the art high tech facility that is privately owned and operated can better the the publics needs. Imagine if you will being able to help choose what shows are to come and an entertainment and community complex that is not located downtown or wayyyyy out on the west mesa, or in the middle of nowhere BELOW grade. Come on folks. Am I the only one who has figured this out?
