Paula Gunn Allen and Luci Tapahonso are West End Press authors. Their books show up on the UNM Press website because West End Press is distributed by UNM Press. (Levi Romero has published with both West End and UNMP.) While UNMP has some magnificent authors in their Mary Burritt Christiansen poetry series (VB Price, Jennifer Bartlett and Anne Valley-Fox, for example), the two authors mentioned are not among them. |
