In the 1930's & '40's Mr. Cline used to drive to Santa Rosa and buy groceries from my dad at his Square Deal Food Market. (I have a photo of the Square Deal but am unable to post it.)

the dq by the juarez bus station moved to the old kfc on central across from the baskin robins near old town. the others are on montgomery & louisanna, edgewood and flying c.

the food was just ok and overpriced. the service sucked and the staff was rude. i've been a server for years and i've always made decent tips. bad service means bad tips, combined with bad food it means no tips! Last edited [9/29/09 9:32 AM] |
