Note that this was a fund from when the cameras were first turned on and a boatload of money was generated. The cameras currently do not generate ANY funds at this point towards the city. Half of the money collected goes to Rediflex and the other half goes to the state. Marty the hair-loosin' mayor had put himself into a difficult spot with this money and simply would not be able to spend the money without a bitch storm. It was supposed to be used to pay for the "court" that the tickets use.

I'd say that EVERY person on this threads tax dollars - every penny paid in and every penny that we are ever going to pay in for the rest of our lives - all has gone to pay for a laser guided bomb that blew up a rock hut in Iraq. Results: Three goats dead, two AK's put out of action, laundry scattered and singed and one rock hut that took three weeks to rebuild. SEE? Now that the truth is out there we no longer have a basis for a "tax dollar" arguement. |
