It all seems a bit snarky to me, and altogether too convenient for the Alibi to backpedal on a system of categories, some of which have been in place for several years.
Just picked up a copy of the Best of Burque issue, and was a little confused by several categories being omitted from the issue. Whats the deal with that? What is the point of making a category, encouraging people to vote, and then not running the results?
NMA have always embodied the punk spirit, eschewing it's aesthetics, perhaps - but a quick glance down their catalog [even MTV singles] is proof positive enough. |
