I hope this article does something to educate many more people about pit bulls as potentially great pets. Bad things can happen, as we know, when people indulge in ignorance or laziness with regard to their responsibilities for raising/training these extremely intelligent, high energy, naturally powerful dogs, or most other breeds of dog. One of my dogs is a half pit/half Heinz 57, and I have always thought her dazzling personality could easily land her a feature role in Hollywood.
