The lasagna had so much balsamic vinegar it was like biting into a pickle sandwich. And to make matters worse, it was still refrigerated in the middle.... Never, never, never again!
What do you do with your 'leftover' books? I send mine to military members outside the U.S. through an organization called BooksForSoldiers.com, "Care Packages for the Mind." Military members can request particular books, volunteers can match up what they have and send them directly. I was pleasantly surprised at the diversity of books being requested. Plenty of requests for both classic and contemporary literature (mixed in among the requests for the Twilight series, of course....) |
