Thoughts about the Pearls before Swine article  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 12:57 PM ]

No condemnation for Wayne taking mistresses

Most people in our free-wheeling culture wouldn't "scoff" at Wayne for taking two mistresses and having multiple sex partners. We live in a very forgiving society.

And it is actually ironic that Anaiah (Jody), who was Wayne Bent's number one ongoing mistress, would resent the characterization... because Wayne probably wouldn't deny that one himself. He admitted that he was doing very "strange" things which are contrary to God's laws or conventions, but he maintained that his bizarre sexual behavior, although obviously paradoxical to the forbidding specifics of God's commands (in the Old Testament book of Leviticus, such as a man having sex with his daughter-in-law or a man having sex with a woman and her daughter), was the result of the strange and mysterious way God worked sometimes. He justified his "strange acts" by citing numerous times in the Bible where men were commanded of God to do things which would have been transgressions following the written standards of the old testament laws.

For example, when Wayne had sex with his daughter-in-law (Wendy Bent) that would have violated a biblical command:

Leviticus 18:15 - Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter in law: she is thy son's wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

And when Wayne had sex with a woman and her daughter (Debbie and her child, Bethany) and when Bent had sex with a mother and laid naked with her daughter (Jody and her child Willow), that violated another:

Leviticus 18: 17 - Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter

But, Wayne said that God, historically, had sometimes commanded people to do wrongful acts as part of a grander purpose and that was just the way God worked. So, yes he took mistresses and he also fornicated with the virgins and that was the point Wayne was making... that he was doing all of these ordinarily sinful acts against his own will and that was because he was told to do it by God himself. And he said that the anguish and torment of what he endured (having to undergo all of that sex, violating his own conscience and personal moral code), was the same as Jesus dying on the cross. I am not making value judgements. I am just stating the facts. And in today's libertine culture, most people don't stand in judgement about a man having multiple sex partners, but find under-aged sex unacceptable. It is hard for most people to distinguish Bent's laying skin-to-skin behavior with the minor girls (both of whom had been selected as members of the "seven virgins" group, slated for sex) as "healing," when he followed the exact same "lay naked" procedure with all of the legal-age virgins with whom he did eventually have sex. That's why some view what he did with the minors as "grooming."

Wayne's whole philosophy is based on the supposition or assertion that he was doing things which mankind would ordinarily reject as being sinful (and that his strange acts of sex were equivalent to crucifixion) and that unless you accept that all his sex acts were divinely inspired then you are doomed to eternal damnation. And, of course, in our society a man can believe and preach whatever he wants without public condemnation. It is only the "spin" on the naked "healing," which seems to fly in the face of the other similar circumstances that is troublesome to most people's reasoning.

God's command  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 7:52 PM ]

Yes, perhaps Wayne had it right when he said, "The Son of God doesn't say 'No' to his Father."

In Wayne's own words  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 5:10 PM ]

Rather than debate what this is about. It is perhaps best just to review what Wayne Bent, himself, said concerning having sex with the virgins In the following, Wayne talked about his commandment from God to have "intimate physical relationships" with the seven virgin messengers, all of whom had requested it of him. He explains how he was aware what the penalties would be. And bent tells how, at first, he fought against God's command, but then he told God that he, "...would do whatever He asked of me."

We learn that Wayne says he resisted the will of the Father, but in his final statement, he says that he will "carry out" what God instructed him to do (have sex with the seven virgins), "no matter the consequences and no matter the circumstances."

Wayne Bent's own words do a lot to shed light on what came to be called by him, his "strange acts." We no longer have to speculate about Wayne's intentions or the mission which he then set about to complete.

I have corrected two entries...  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 1:11 PM ]

I have corrected my two entries, which included statements based on erroneous information in the Alibi article. If you refresh this page in your browser, you will see an updated chart in my "Whole lotta healin' goin' on" post. Plus, if you look at my alibi.com blog post, you will see that it is now updated as well with the facts as they are known. You can read that revised post here:

I only want to deal with the facts. They speak for themselves.

So only the Keele women were a mother daughter combination.  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 10:58 AM ]

If the article is wrong about Liberty being John's daughter (and therefore Jody's), then it would seem that Debbie Keele (Ami) and Bethany Keele (Moriah or Security) were the only mother/daughter combination having sex with Wayne Bent aka Michael Travesser. Fair enough.

More about Willow and her older sister liberty  [ Thu Apr 23 2009 10:47 AM ]

Also in the article (which we are commenting on):

In the section called Willow and Liberty:

Willow describes her experience with Bent as having the same "healing" results as Healed’s, as does her older sister Liberty, who was not a minor at the time.

and

Willow now lives with her sister and father in a house outside Strong City.
