Musical Theatre Southwest’s Camelot this weekend
New Year's Day is about nursing hangovers and watching 12 hours of football. But this can prove tedious for people who don't like spending their holiday among grumpy sports fans. That's why Musical Theatre Southwest's production of Camelot might come in handy. The musical brings to life the tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. There's battle, mutiny and scandal involving Guinevere and Lancelot. The production is directed by Matthew Naegeli. Relive the Broadway classic this weekend at the African American Performing Arts Center (310 San Pedro NE). Performances take place today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. Call 265-9119 for more info.
