Savor the Salsa
8th Annual Old Town Salsa Fiesta
You've probably had corn chips without salsa before, right? And they're boring. So why not take an afternoon and celebrate the condiment that makes them worthwhile at the 8th Annual Old Town Salsa Fiesta? There will be a homemade salsa competition—with recipes mixed up on the spot by amateur chefs—music by salsa bands, performances by salsa dancers and (presumably salsa-related) kids' activities and crafts. The fiesta is free to the public, or, for $5, you can participate in the tasting and judging.
