I Fall, You Fall, We Fall!: ¡Feria de Otoño!
Now that the first instances of cold are starting to add a welcome chill in the air, it's time to start bringing out the autumn events. One, in particular, happens to be only a mere speck of a drive on the highway, over in the City Different. That, my friends, would be the ¡Feria de Otoño! (Fall Fair!). This seasonal extravaganza happens at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art on Museum Hill (750 Camino Lejo) tomorrow from 8am to 4pm. It'll include activities for the wee ones like retablo painting, cookie decorating and, of course, a bouncy house.
For the adults (and I guess some kids), there will be a pig roasting, a rare and used book sale, an artisan market and brews from Santa Fe Brewing Co. (but that's only from 10am to 2pm, so don't be late!). Tickets for this illustrious fair go for $16 (for museum members), $20 (non-members) and $8 (for children 13 and under). Events like this only come around ... well ... during this time of year. So take advantage and celebrate the oncoming cold!
