I love the shimmery coat of Grackles. They're noisy SoBs though.

we have hundreds of grackles roosting in a juniper tree near our house [ Wed Dec 29 2010 12:37 PM ]

Every night just after sunset they make an incredible racket. It's like living in the jungle. I love that noise, but they are otherwise irritating birds.
