Sunday, Feb 5: The Albuquerque Forum on Faith and Politics: An Interfaith Conversation

So, you know it, I know it; we're at a crossroads. This just isn't working anymore, you know? So let's all sit down and hash it out at St. Andrew Presbyterian, this Sunday, Feb. 5. The beginning of a series of community conversations focused on critical issues where religion and politics intersect, called "The Albuquerque Forum on Faith and Politics: An Interfaith Conversation,” is beginning at 1:30pm covering topics that are affecting all Americans (and people all over the world). Facilitated by panelists Reverend Roger Scott Powers, Rabbi Paul Citrin, Kathryn Turnipseed and more. All the panelists will discuss what their faith means to them and how it affects their personal lives. The series is free and will cover immigration, global climate change, the future of health care and public education. Attendees will have a chance to discuss their thoughts on this pivotal intersection of politics, as well. St. Andrew Presbyterian Church • Sun Feb 5 • 1:30-3:30pm • Free • 13+ • View on Alibi calendar
