that does suck, dude. i have to admit, when someone parks over the line i love to pin them in. "oh, i'm sorry, you can't get in your car? then you shouldn't park over the line dumb ass!"

I hitch hike, take the train and ride buses all day, 1x/mo., 80 miles, round trip for groceries. I push home over a hundred pounds in an old stroller to which I've added storage tubs, mylar bags and an ice chest. I buy all of it on $130/mo. Food Stamps (that's just over $3/day for food) I never go to restaurants, because they're too far away, too mediocre compared to my own cooking and too expensive. This morning, I had cinnamon French toast with a compote/syrup I made from sauted, frozen strawberries and canned pineapple. For lunch, I had jasmine rice, over which I poured home made orange chicken and frozen Thai pot stickers. For supper, I'll have curried turkey. All this in a house with no: heat, running water, sewage, trash pick up or access to public transportation.

Rogi: sounds like you got your limited-resources thing together pretty well. I can definitely respect that. What part of rural NM do you call home? And sorry about your lame landlord.
