Yesterday, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals said "we don't care if he IS innocent" to Carlsbad's Carl Case. Convicted of murder 25 or so years ago, Mr. Case got the 10th Circuit's permission (!) to appeal his conviction, convinced New Mexico judge Martha Vasquez that his conviction was a fix (new DNA evidence, witnesses recanted, old evidence of his innocence that the DA hid exposed), and the Court of Appeals says "Wrong answer!" Proving his innocence was not good enough for a new trial, much less getting released.
Its so glorious being an American, where at least I know I'm free!
i appreciate that someone sees the injustice,i am very worried about him,had a parole hearing and obviously the parole board hadnt read the new " exposed" evidence and let mitchells so called family(none of which cared about or in some cases even knew her)beat their breasts and generally show thier ignorance.do you know her parents had life insurence on her?so i have been told.who does that???anyway thanks again from some one who loves and adores him.fighting for his freedom for 30+ years...casey
