Must have been someone just passing through town who thought that.

  • Are people here really this dumb?  [ Tue Sep 2 2008 2:12 PM ]

“After the third one we thought maybe there was gunfire in the neighborhood,” said one Country Club area resident who didn’t want to be identified. “So we ran out our front door and my entire neighborhood was streaming down the street and as we crested the corner we saw fireworks.”

“It wasn’t just loud,” said area resident John Avery. “It had a shock wave to it. That’s why I thought it was next door. I don’t know what they were using. Those guys at the Country Club probably have access to military stuff. I don’t know.”
