Keeping Her Campaign Alive

Sen. Hillary Clinton defeated Sen. Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary by a comfortable margin tonight. It’s good news for Clinton’s campaign, but there’s some doubt as to whether the victory was large enough to make a dent in Obama’s 100-plus delegate lead. The next states in play are Indiana and North Carolina, which both hold their primaries on May 6. If Clinton can make up some ground in those states, where polls show her trailing Obama, then the following two contests look like they could offer big victories for the New York Senator.
