Clinton Takes West Virginia
Yesterday Clinton held a 41 point lead and a nine delegate advantage in the West Virginia primaries. The win cut into Obama’s lead, leaving him with a mere 168 delegate advantage. With five primary battles remaining between now and June 3, and a total of a 189 elected delegates to be had, how can Clinton's seemingly daunting task of nomination be accomplished?
The fact of the matter is, this still leaves Senator Clinton in need of 88 percent--essentially a 76 point lead--in the remaining five contests to even tie Senator Obama's delegate count. If she can't get these kind of results in a state that overwhelminly supported her, how is she going to win the others?
