I read the top 10 reasons - it boils down to one reason in the author's mind - it gets the face of women involved in politics in ways it has never before. OK - it would be nice to get more women in politics. Ignoring half the race is bad for any nation in many ways - but really, does she have to be a crazy religious nutjob? Would you vote for the destruction of this country just to get more women involved?
What you're missing is that if you want more women involved and you're a woman; get involved! You're waiting for someone else to do it for you.
