Four More (Queer)Years!
Dandykor is a saloon-style teach-in and a queer cabaret. The sex-positive dance party aims to be inclusive and culturally responsible as it evolves, and the Burque dandies have been at it for a year now. Interested humans gather to celebrate the collective's first anniversary and Transgender Day of Remembrance on Friday, Nov. 16. Commemorate the lives of those fallen to transphobia—a serious problem, both in the U.S. and worldwide—and get your cathartic, endorphin-releasing groove on. The 18-and-over memorial and community-building soirée gets going at 8 p.m. Admission is a sliding-scale donation of $7 to $10. The Kosmos • Fri Nov 16 • 8 pm • View on Alibi calendar
