Spring Break Family Day at Balloon Museum: Celebrate the Sky

Spring Break Family Day at the Anderson-Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum has become a favorite for many area families. The opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities and learn more about ballooning from the extensive collection of archives is a great way to entertain kids during the week-long break.

This year will be no exception. With a theme of "Celebrate the Sky," the event on Wednesday, March 30 from 9:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. will feature three great ways to celebrate the beautiful blue sky overhead with balloons, kites, butterflies and bubbles.

Have fun close up and personal with butterflies from Wings of Enchantment, enjoy making and studying bubbles large and small, and share the fun with balloons and kite-flying (weather permitting).

Climb high in the sky on the rock-climbing wall. Join in fun hands-on art activities that relate to our skies. Live music with Jug of Punch will bring great energy to the event!

Bring a picnic to enjoy on the Museum's expansive lawn, or purchase delicious offerings form local food vendor, Texas Meltz & U-Swirl frozen yogurt.

All of the fun is included with regular admission to the Museum, $4.00 for adults ($3.00 for NM residents), $2.00 for seniors 65+, $1.00 for children ages 4-12, and children 3 and under are FREE.
